Wallet

Balances held inside the system, what is available, and what is committed against it.

Wallet in SigmaPointPi
/wallet

A wallet balance is money held for a purpose rather than sitting in a general account. Reserves for tax, funds set aside for a scheduled run, or float held for a specific programme.

Available and committed are shown separately. A balance that looks healthy while fully committed to a run tomorrow is not spendable.

How to work this page

Read available against committed

Committed is money already promised to something scheduled. Available is what remains.

Fund from a connected account

A transfer into the wallet carries the same rail and timing as any other, so fund ahead of the date rather than on it.

Watch the reserve build

Tax and payroll reserves accumulate as obligations accrue, which is what keeps a quarterly from arriving as a shock.

Release deliberately

Money moving out of a reserve is a decision and it is recorded as one.

Every figure from the desktop appears here, stacked rather than reduced. Tables scroll inside themselves so the page never moves sideways, and figures keep their separators and their alignment at every width.

Questions people actually ask

Is wallet money insured?

It is held at the partner institution and carries that institution's protections. The specific arrangement is stated on the page rather than implied.

Can a wallet go negative?

No. A movement that would overdraw it is refused with the shortfall named.
