Transactions

Every movement across every connected account, categorised, searchable, and traceable to its source.

Transactions in SigmaPointPi
/transactions

This is the raw feed. Everything that moved, on every account, with the category it landed in and the confidence behind that categorisation.

Categorisation is automatic and correctable. Correcting one teaches the rule for that merchant permanently, so the same charge does not need fixing twice.

How to work this page

Filter before you scroll

Date range, account, category, amount range, and free text against description and merchant. A specific charge is faster to filter to than to find.

Fix a wrong category once

Changing a category updates that transaction and creates a rule for the merchant. Existing matching transactions are offered for the same correction rather than silently changed.

Attach the receipt

A transaction with a receipt is a deduction you can defend. Missing receipts above your threshold are surfaced rather than left to be discovered at year end.

Split when one charge covers two things

A single payment covering software and hardware splits into two lines with their own categories. The total is preserved and the split is recorded.

On a phone

Transactions on iPhone 15 Pro Max

Every figure from the desktop appears here, stacked rather than reduced. Tables scroll inside themselves so the page never moves sideways, and figures keep their separators and their alignment at every width.

Questions people actually ask

Why is a transaction still pending?

The bank has authorised it and not settled it. Amounts can change between the two, which is why pending items are shown separately rather than counted as final.

Can I import history from a spreadsheet?

Yes, through Workbooks. Columns are matched by meaning rather than position, and everything lands in review before it posts.
