Banking
Every account you hold, what has cleared, what has not, and where the money moved.

Banking lists every connected account with its live balance and its recent activity. Accounts arrive through a bank connection, and once connected the balance history builds from the day of first sync.
The distinction that matters on this page is between the available balance and the posted balance. Available is what the bank will let you move today. Posted is what has settled. A large deposit can sit between the two for a day, and paying from the wrong one is how an account goes negative.
Where everything sits

How to work this page
Open Connections, choose your bank, and authorise through the bank's own screen. Credentials never reach us. What comes back is a token that reads balances and transactions and cannot move money.
Each account shows when it last synced. A connection that needs re-authorisation says so on the account rather than quietly showing a stale figure.
Balance history charts every day since first sync. Transactions below it are the individual movements, newest first.
Transfers handles one-off and recurring movements between your own accounts. Anything leaving to a third party runs through Bills or Payments instead, where approval rules apply.
On a phone

Every figure from the desktop appears here, stacked rather than reduced. Tables scroll inside themselves so the page never moves sideways, and figures keep their separators and their alignment at every width.
Questions people actually ask
Only through a payment you create and approve. The read connection cannot move anything. Payment rails are separate, and every execution is logged with who approved it and when.
Transactions backfill up to 24 months where the institution provides them. Balance history starts the day the account was connected, because banks do not expose historical daily balances.
